My Town Rockford: School bond proposal up for vote May 6

ROCKFORD, Mich.-- Should Rockford Public Schools borrow $76 million to refurnish and remodel school buildings, purchase school buses and create and improve playgrounds, athletic fields and facilities?

That's the question voters within the school district will answer when they head to the polls May 6.  Rockford Schools would have 28 years to repay the debt.  For additional proposal information, click here.

The polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. To find the polling location in your area, visit the Kent County website here.
