Nature Trail Work Days

Nature Trail Work Days

If you haven't visited the Sparta Nature Trail, this is the perfect time to see the work of volunteers in the community in the 100 acres of woodland on the Rogue River.

Sparta Boy Scouts and volunteers are working together to extend the trail to the edge of the river on work days this summer. Work dates include trimming brush, clearing pathways and maintaining the existing trail.

Kent Equipment of Casnovia is sponsoring the work days by providing equipment to extend and maintain the pathway.

Waterproof boots, pants, and bug spray are highly recommended for volunteers.

Trail access is across from the BP Gas Station on Division Avenue, next to Tom's Hometown Bakery.

Friends of Sparta Trails invites you to join in on the work dates and enjoy the great outdoors and nature trail in Sparta! Volunteer dates:
